How guides are written
KoreaSpots guides are drafted with AI assistance from public information and then published on a regular schedule. We aim for specific, practical details — neighborhoods, what to order, how to get there — but not every place has been visited in person. Treat each guide as a starting point for your own planning.
Prices, hours and addresses
Prices, menus, opening hours and closing days in Korea change often. Every article shows the date it was last updated. Before you visit, confirm details on Naver Map (the most up-to-date map in Korea) or on the venue's official channel.
TV-show mentions
Many Korean restaurants become famous after appearing on food shows such as Saengsaeng Jeongbotong or Saengsong Today. When a guide mentions a TV appearance, it is context — not a quality guarantee — and we do not always have the episode or air date on record.
Photos
- Photos come from the Korea Tourism Organization (TourAPI), Naver image search, Pexels and Unsplash, and are credited with a link to their source.
- Photos are chosen to match the section they illustrate; when no suitable photo is found, we leave it out.
- We do not present AI-generated images as real photos of a specific restaurant, venue or TV scene. If we use an AI-generated illustration, it will be labeled “AI-generated illustration”.
